Join us on Friday, May 11th for our annual Spring Community Picnic! We bring out community together every spring to grill, share some homemade dishes, and hang out!

Deadlift Off

How much can your CrossFit Central coach lift? On Saturday, May 19th the coaches will participate in our annual Deadlift Off benefiting The Flatwater Foundation. They have each committed to raising $500 for this amazing organization and you can help —> sponsor your favorite coach by donating an amount of your choice per pound. Your coach will go for their best effort, max lift, and all money raised will go to The Flatwater Foundation!

Example: You pledge to donate $.20 per pound and your coach lifts 350 lbs. you will contribute $70 to The Flatwater Foundation.

NEW THIS YEAR: We are opening up the deadlift off to 20 CrossFit Central athletes (10 at Burnet Road and 10 at Downtown) that want to participate. Each client must commit to raising $500 for the Deadlift Off and going for their max lift on May 19th. If you are interested in participating, there will be a sign up sheet at the front desk. Fundraising begins on April 16th!

Get Involved: Locate the paddle board at your gym and pledge your amount under your favorite coach OR sign up to take on the Deadlift Off!

The Deadlift Off will take place at both CrossFit Central Burnet Road and CrossFit Central Downtown – come cheer everyone on!

Memorial Day Murph

Join us on Memorial Day for the Hero WOD, Murph! Every Memorial Day we take on this workout as a community in honor of a fallen soldier and as a tribute to all of the men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

“Murph” is a Hero WOD in memory of Navy Lieutenant Michael Murphy, 29, of Patchogue, N.Y., who was killed in Afghanistan June 28th, 2005.

NLand Surf Session + CrossFit Central Workout

We have partnered with NLand Surf Park to create one incredible Saturday morning! Join us on Saturday, April 7th for a CrossFit workout, surf lesson, and open surf session. NLand Surf Park has extended an amazing offer to the CrossFit Central community – over $50 off of their instruction and surf session!

Due to space and instruction availability for this event is very limited. There are only 16 spots available per CrossFit Central location for this event.

This summer we are offering a CrossFit Kids Camp for 11-15 year old girls and boys at both CrossFit Central Burnet Road and CrossFit Central Downtown!

This camp teaches boys and girls the fundamental tools to lead a healthy and active lifestyle while keeping it FUN through challenges, relays and games. The summer kids camp is open to all fitness levels and all movements will be scaled accordingly.

2018 Garage Gym Throwdown
Jun 9 @ 8:00 am – 11:00 am

The Garage Gym Throwdown brings together gyms and communities from across Central Texas one summer morning to THROW DOWN.

This is a fun team competition held at the LCRA parking garage. Athletes descend and ascend each level of the garage and meet “challenges” on every level. Teams will take on three events. The top 5 teams will advance to the finals.

RX (Open to 20 Teams)
Athletes will take on workouts as prescribed.

Coach + Athletes (Open to 20 Teams)
This division is a great way for coaches to take on workouts with their athletes. Teams include one coach and three of their athletes.

Scaled (Open to 10 Teams)
The scaled division is a fun way to take on a competition with friends and have some fun! Workouts are scaled appropriately.

This is a team event you don’t want to miss. Spend one morning this summer, getting sweaty, challenging yourself and your teammates, and having some FUN! This event always sells out – don’t miss you chance to take on this AWESOME competition.
