1. You Are Great!
Even if you cannot do the exact prescribed weight of any of the workouts, you will most likely surprise yourself with what you are capable of. The competition is about digging deep to find the best in yourself no matter your current level. Most likely you are physically stronger than your mind lets you believe. We offer 3 divisions: RX, Intermediate, and Fun! This competition is open to ALL levels of fitness!
2. It Gets You Competing Again!
Many of us competed as kids whether on a college sports team or just racing siblings to the car. You may be a “win-at-all cost” type of athlete or an athlete looking to try their first competition. There is something about putting yourself on the line that sparks inspiration. The 2016 Iron belle just might be a few of the most memorable moments of the year. Get in the game, it’s worth it!
3. It Gives You an Appreciation for the Best of the Best!
During the Iron belle workouts, you get the opportunity to do the same exact workouts as the prescribed RX CrossFitters. If you are a fan of the top CrossFit athletes, it’s exciting to match your stats to theirs. The progression of the sport of fitness has grown to superhuman levels. Seeing top athlete scores only deepens your appreciation for the dedication, skill, and strength of the world of fitness we live in.
4. Its Fun.
Competition immediately bonds you with your team because it feels like you’re going to battle together in a light hearted way. Everyone is nervous, but when we put our hands in the circle and yell at the top of our lungs, it is our buy-in to the team. You’ll never know your true strength unless you’re willing to throw your name up on that leaderboard and go for it. Be open to exploring the best you have to offer right now, in this moment. More often than not, you’ll surprise yourself. There is still time to register here… https://www.competitioncorner.
