I joined CrossCit Central after I discovered the cause of my overweight, sadness, depression and tiredness was about two health issues: Hypothyroidism and sleep apnea. I remember falling asleep several times while driving and in other occasions my family getting worried when I stopped breathing while sleeping in my bed. After medical treatment for those health issues and feeling less tired and depressed I decided to give my body a chance to exercise, after almost 20 years without physical activity. I started working out in a gym before I knew what CrossFit was.
A couple of years later, in 2016, I started at CrossFit Central. This decision literally changed my life. I feel energetic all day every day. I have deep and restful sleep as soon as I place my head on the pillow. I’ve lost more than 40 pounds in the last 6 months and feel stronger than ever. I have become addicted of the feeling of one more rep when you think you don’t have the strength anymore, when your body doesn’t want to respond but your mind is challenging it. Right at this moment my mind goes blank in a profound meditation where nothing worries me and I feel every part of my body as a whole.
Adrian lost 40 lbs.
My heart pounding fast is a reminder that I am alive and every breath after that calms me down in this joyful mood where everything seems right. The rest of the day is a relaxed sensation with my mind fully aware and attentive. This sensation let me better focus on my daily chores and my business activities.
In a way, I can say that I tackle these tasks, in business and in life, the same way I clash the next rep — one at a time with all my strength.
I have been member of CrossFit Central for almost 4 years. I feel good, I feel relaxed, I feel happy and I want to continue this process as a habit congruent with my food choices. I would like to share this feeling with everybody and invite all the people that don’t feel great to make the change. CrossFit Central is the place to start.
