Carey Kepler, a wife, mother, business owner, motivational speaker, top-ranked athlete and coach who resides in Austin, Texas. Carey is the co-founder of CrossFit Central, a business she started with her brother with the mission of building a fit community in their city. Since 2006, Carey has worked as a coach and inspirational speaker and played a dynamic role in seeing the lives of thousands of people change. Carey’s greatest passion is helping others find their purpose, set goals and live an intentional life. Carey, herself, is a world-class athlete who took the “3rd Fittest Woman in the World” title for her 3rd place overall at the 2009 International CrossFit Games – surpassing over 75 nationally ranked female athletes.Returned to the Games in 2010 & 2011 at an individual and In 2012, she qualified with Team CrossFit Central at the Games to compete alongside the top 50 other teams from around the world. The following year, competed in an Ultramarathon in Anaheim, California where she ran 50-miles and continues to prove you can do anything you put your mind to. Her most recent success was competing at the 2016 International CrossFit Games in Carson California as a masters athlete. Her 7th place finish was amazing to watch! Currently, Carey leads regular goal-setting and nutrition workshops, serves as an inspirational speaker both locally and nationally, and holds her annual ‘Champion Mindset’, an 8-week program for women during which participants learn to to create and live the life of a champion—inside and outside the gym. When she is not training, coaching or speaking, Carey is playing with her kids, ages 10 and 8, spending time with her husband living life with adventure!

1) Drink 1/2 body weight in oz in water
2) Get 6-8 hrs of sleep
3) Eat whole food (not processed)

What is a habit or daily routine of yours that positively impacts your day?
I am consistent with the above three

When you’re not coaching, what are you doing?
I’m hanging with my kids, Ronda and my hubby. We swim, ride bikes and sit in the ice bath and sauna for fun! Favorite activities? We ride our bikes, go trail running, engage in pool training – and read a good business development book!

Current goals?
Run an XTERRA trail run (6-10 miler), become a super successful business women, and impact double the lives I have to date!
