Every Memorial Day we take on “Murph,” in honor of fallen soldier Michael Murphy, and in honor of all of the men and women that have sacrificed their lives for our country. This year will look different than previous years, but we will still show up, pay tribute, and honor the men and women that have sacrificed so much.

The workout is donation-based. This year we are taking donations for HONOR Veterans Now. This organization provides consistent access to healthy, daily meals for veterans under age 60 and are struggling financially.


If you cannot make it to the gym this Memorial Day, make sure you join us by taking on the below workout at home!

Location
CrossFit Central Downtown, outside parking lot.

All CrossFit Central Athletes and the general public.

Space
Heats of 20 strict limit, no walk ups. Please sign up via the link below RESERVE your spot!
*Registering does not reserve your time in a heat. Please also reserve your heat time.

All workout stations will be on two horse stall mats with personal kettlebell or Pull-up station and spray bottle and cleaning wipes adequately spaced for distance.

The “Murph” is a workout used by Navy SEAL, Medal of Honor recipient, Michael Murphy. Murphy died when exposed to enemy fire while attempting to radio headquarters for assistance.

***Only if you have done pull-ups once a week for the last 8 weeks. Vest optional.***
