Event Details
The Memorial Day Murph workout is a donation-based workout! All funds raised on Memorial Day will go to the LT Michael P. Murphy Memorial Scholarship Foundation. The LT Michael P. Murphy Memorial Scholarship Foundation was started in 2007 by Michael’s parents, Dan and Maureen, and Michael’s brother John. Michael was an avid reader and felt that education was key, in fact his favorite saying was “Education will set you free”. That is why the Murphy Family used their own funds to start the Foundation.

As a team of 8 you will complete 24 Murphs in 24 Hours. That’s 3 Murphs per team member.
Every team member must also commit to raising $250 for LT Michael P. Murphy Memorial Scholarship Foundation

The Workout
"Murph" is a Hero WOD in memory of Navy Lieutenant Michael Murphy, 29, of Patchogue, N.Y., who was killed in Afghanistan June 28th, 2005.
